Dupli-color Vinyl/Fabric Paint
Friday, July 22, 2005 9:09 AM
I was just wondering if anyone has ever used this paint to paint their interior, such as seats, door panels. I'm not having any luck finding anyone to reupholster my rear seat and door panels within a reasonable amount of time, just wondering if this stuff works and looks good. if anyone has used this and has pics, please post them. Thanks!

I used it on my armrests, but it rubbed off...I'd suggest PlastiKolor Vinyl dye...guaranteed not to flake, peel, or rub off...

I used it all over the car. On the door panel where the grip is to close the door, it all came off.

How long did it take before your's rubbed off? I painted my center console over a month ago...looks good still...I just painted my door panel's like last week.

Took me about 2 months....it was just from short grabs like when using the e-brake, or opening up the center console to get to the storage area in it...

the last post was over 3 years old....the thread is dead, zed

also, LMR isnt here any longer. hopefully hes dead too

finally, duplicolor spray isnt good for cloth seats and makes them feel crusty and look nasty.

katzkin makes real leather seat covers for our cars. ive heard nothing but good things about them, but they are on the pricey side.
