Dash Airbag cover

I know how to remove it, and i know how to paint, But i cant get the paint to stick to just that piece.

Ive thoughly cleaned and degreased it first, With many different tries, including acetone.

But after about 20 mins, the paint just start peeling off in strips like dead skin.

I did notice however, my Airbag cover seemed to have a rubberized coating, That would explain why its not sticking..

Any suggestions.....

Example, you can see some of the problem in these pics. Ill get better ones later, i have to go to work in about 5 mins.

You can see on the edge where it peeled off:

And here was the actually 1st shot before it went ary.

ive painted two now and havn't had any issues with paint flaking. i used folia tec dye the firrst time, and the second time i used the duplicollor dye. usually flaking comes from dirty pieces. not sure what to tell u on this one.

The airbag cover has a rubberized coating from the origianl owner. Why, so they can put stuff up there with out it sliding off.

So i have to sand it down, paint wont stick to rubber.
