Ok...I've been looking at starting to paint some of the plastic parts in my car, and I have this really nice looking model paint (in a spray can), its an enamel, ive searched and I haven't really pulled up anything. Has anyone used enamel on the interior.
Oh if anyone is wondering, the paint color is Artic Blue Metallic, made by model master.
I have painted a couple of interior pieces with enamel -- International Tractor Red (matches well with the charcoal interior). Light coats, shouldn't have a problem.
i heard enamel cracks over time
but im no paint expert
The interior in my old (green) cavalier was painted with those little cans of model paint. It held up fine, even after the wreck.
I think another .org member bought the door panels out of the junk yard in ky.
