ok i've heard almost nothing but good things about krylon fusion spray paint, so i went out today and got 2 cans of it in yellow for my interior, and all i have to say is WOW!!!!!!
i was skeptical at first, since it says no sanding or primer is necessary, but WOW!!! i cant believe the results, if anyone wants to paint their interior this is def the stuff to use
So your saying wow then right? kidding. wait to see how well it lasts or doesn't last before you have there babies. I've heard only good stuff as well but an interior of a car is a mean place for paint to try to survive. If you could give updates in the future and its
still holding up fine then I may consider paiting some things. I'll be looking for you updates as I'm sure others here will as well. I hope it lasts good for you tho.

I've had mine on for alittle over a month, still looks good as the day I painted it. Just an update from me.

Yeah, i personally dont care for the spray patern or the preasure of the spray, i will just stick to krylon flat paint and clear coat.
i did my dash in the fusion in white and it was great till about a couple of weeks ago where it is starting to bubble right up against my windshield (which keep in mind i live in an area of high heat and humidity) so i have to take it all out sand it down and respray. i clear coated it but is there one i should use specifically due to heat matters?
^Krylon Fusion and Duplicolor Vinyl Dye on the armrest portion. Works like a charm. Practically flawless. I have other pieces in the car painted with krylon that have held up perfectly over a year.
Fugitive thats beautiful ( Jackalope wipes a small tear from his left eye ) You may have inspired me to do something similer. Only question I can think of is does it feel
tacky or not quite right? do you know what I mean? also does it smell bad for weeks on end? And lastly any special prep. work needed? Thanks man that does look great

yea i would be worried about dying something that my arm is going to be on constantly. is it cracking or anything?
i have quite a bit done in my car with krylon fusion and i have had it in there for over a year. No defects, fade, scratches, etc...

Jackalope, nothing on the doorpanel feels tacky. The white part feels just like the stock charcoal color would feel. The armrest is done with Duplicolor vinyl dye and there is no tackiness when felt. It's hard to tell from the pics, but I did not sand the door panel smooth prior to paint. I liked the stock texture so I left it there. I didn't use any primer. Just a good paint thinner/water wash and wipe down. Then spray away. Hit me up on AIM @ NauticaC1128 if you have any questions
I've had my interior painted with Krylon Fusion blue for over a year now and it still looks great no chips, holds up to the sun (heat),rain, interior cleaner's,and daily abuse.I have nothing to say but good things about Krylon Fusion!
Friends Don't Let Friends Drive Stock!!!!!
