wHATS THE smallest gauge for LEDs

I have strung LEds before and they worked gorgeously---only problem now is that i had some extra 16 gauge layin around--strung em up--pluggd them in and nothin....when i had dont it before i used 20 and solder it all together---anyone know whats teh thinnest i can go?

You had it on 20 gauge before which is thinner than the 16 gauge wire. I wouldn't go higher than 20 gauge with LEDs. They don't take much in the amperage department. It's weird how it wouldn't work with a thicker wire. Maybe you got the positive and negative reversed? They won't work then.

Did you remember the resisters for them? and are they polled corectly like J-kub said?

yea...goin 4 leds with 1 320 ohm resistor like ive done in the past..i even used a 300 ohm resisitor and still nothin---what about 24 gauge? too small?

Did you try to reverse the power? and how about the resister? Lastly you know for a fact that these are good leds right?
