Hey, my boot for my b&m short shifter is all dicked up...its torn on both sides, and i have been looking everywhere for another one...any suggestions?

I got the same problem. I'm going to the junkyard to get one. This time i'm gonna actualy follow the direcions where it shows to trim the shifter boots plastic base

So you have to buy a regular sized one and then cut it??? See i have no directions cuz it came w/ the short shifter when i bought the car

Yes. when you get a new one flip it over on the underside is a plastic base that the boot is atached to you need to trim the plastic so the boot doesn't get pinched between the shifter and the plastic base. Since you already know where it pinches cause thats where the boot is worn then you should be able to trim it with no problem.
