Well, I wanted TVs in my car, but I didn't know where I was going to put them. I really wanted to try and do something no one had ever done before & since I rarely have passengers, I figured what better place than.........

I know it looks a little sketchy right now, but I promise you that it will be perfectly smooth and tweeded over before too long. We're on the half way mark right now.

The passenger side will be an exact duplicate of the drivers side.
& I know the tvs are almost completely non-funtional in those places, but they look good IMO.
Next to come are two bucket seats for the back, all four seats completely reupholstered w/ charcoal and black tweed, black carpet, and custom built kickpanels to house 5 1/4" speakers, and Ima try and build a custom middle console to house some things... going to try to squeez an air ride tank somewhere in the interior- all kinds of goodies. Also, I'm repainting ALL interior pieces a dark sand grey (actual chroma base dupont paint) which is close to a black color. I'll probably be doing away w/ the black on the doors. I'll probably fiberglass and re-paint/paint anything you see that is currently black.
OH YEAH... WETSANDING SUCKS---- We've been wetsanding my car for two days now and are still not finished! Pictures of that will be up before too long
Here are pictures of how my interior looks right now.... and it has looked like this for months actually.

Looks sweet! What did you use to wrap the tweed to stick on interior pieces especially the headliner. I need to get mine wrapped after cutting out a hole on the center of headliner for the ragtop.
I got a can of cement glue which I have to use brush to lay the resin and then wrap. Which I havent got started on it yet. I just want to make sure I m gonna use a right stuff to wrap.

I'm confused as to what you're asking?
Msg me on msn when you get a chance.. and we'll talk about it... sami_s98@hotmail.com
If you're just wondering what kind of adhesive I used to make the tweed stick, then I'll answer that... lol. I used 3M adhesive in the spray can. You can get it at Wal-Mart in the automotive dept. it comes in a white can. It's really the best stuff I have used thus far.

TWEED!
not a big fan of those speaker grilles but the rest looks great
good job
A little dull with the tweet look (one mans opinion)...buy certianly appreciate the workmanship. Looking good.
lookin good. Like 2 see the finished product! I wanna do some mods to my headliner too, but I'm still confused as to what color to use. I like blue but my car is silver and I have seen some pretty nice silver interiors. So far the upholstery on thedoor has been changed to blue. I don't know, I'll probably make it blue and silver!!!!

Thanks for all the compliments guys!
Catfish, thanks! Those speaker grills were the ones that matched my interior best. I would have gone with something else, but I really didn't want plain ones and none of the others looked right
Juan Chavez, thank you! If you're talking about doing your interior in blue and grey tweed. I can show u a picture of the unfinished interior of my boyfriends old corolla. He had blue and light grey tweed. Unfortunately this car is a done deal and is being returned to stock and sold and since my b/f loves my car, he's decided on a crapaler... lord. lol but anyway... here are the pictures...

I believe blue and silver looks great on a silver car, if it's done right.
GL on your project!

Looks good, where did you get that part under your shift knob that has the PRND12 on it? Is that aluminum?
Keep it up.
