for painting door panals

Alright, so im painting my door panals and i want the top piece red and the bottom white, and the part that surrounds the door panal white as well as white carpet. I was wondering, since they're all retardedly like, molded together with like that plastic that doesnt allow them to be pulled apart without breaking what holds them together, i was wondering, if you did break them apart would it go back onto the door good or would it have gaps and @!#$ cuz if i could pull them apart it would make painting 100 times easier instead of taping it off and stuff. Or is there a way to make them stick back together afterwards or what? i dont like taping off and stuff cuz it doesnt look that good with overspray and @!#$ so if anyone could help that'd be awesome, thx

break the plastic welds with a exacto or something, then you will have to get some bad ass super glue or something, they have epoxy made for plastic and they sell it at home depot and the like.

how well its going to stick back together really depends on how good a job you did of seperating them and putting them back together, it can be done if u take your time, i used a heat gun to melt the tabs then when we put it back together we just used theheatgun to remelt the tabs. be careful though, get the panel to hot and you will warp the panel.

if you use a wood burner... the thing that people use to write in the wood..... it gets really hot and you can just heat up those pieces that hold it to gethjer slide it off when ther are alkl up and when your done put it back on and use the wood carver again to melt them back to there normal position
