back up popper button, can you use diff buttons?

I am glassin my doors and wanted to know if you had to use the back up popper button or could you jsut buy and button from an auto store and wire it up? I ask this cause I want a button that looks alot better than the stupid white one you get with autoloc

any button should work, I assume your popper has a relay? just don't get a click on click off button, you just want it to only make "connection" when pressed
