I have my inside door panels off so that I can paint them. Now how do I get the door handles off and apart?
Drill out the silver rivet, then push forward on the door handle (ther are small plastic arms wedged in the door). Once you have it off, turn it upside-down and you'll see the end of a metal rod where the handle and the lock levers meet to pivot. Take a screwdriver and a hammer and beat that rod out, then everything is apart. If that doesn't make sense, e-mail me a pic and I'll show you what I'm talking about. It's kinda hard to explain w/o the thing right in front of me.
