I took my my wheel off about a month or so ago to paint everything and now I'm stuck with getting my tilt steering arm and such back in?? I wrote it all down, where stuff went and everything but for the life of me, I can't figure this out.

I need to know how to put the tilt steering arm, with pin and spring (pics below) back together. I know where the arm and pin go, it's this darn spring that I can't figure out!!! I don't have a Chiltons (I know, kill me after you answer this please!!!!) but if someone does and can scan in a pic and some instructions, much appreciated!!!

you didnt need to take out that spring but you should buy a chiltons or haynes or somethin....you will find it to be your best friend in the world

OK you both seem to know "I shouldn't have" but how do I put it back?

I'll order up a Chiltons/Haynes (one of them) and have it around. But, can someone help me out right now before my book gets here?

Problem solved...took me all of 30 seconds once I figured out "HOW" it went in there!! Of course it took me a good day to figure that out ... LOL

...and since it seems to be a secret, if anyone needs info on it, let me know!
