OK^^^^ those were the original pics and well yes i know my camera sucks at the moment but heres the new and updated pics!

so what happen was i ended up ripping my headunit install kit all apart and using that to house the headunit securely in, only prob was it was so big that the console had to be severly chopped and then molded which is what im goin as of now!

Looks like it. Looks like your sanding job will be easier then mine. I just primed and there are still alot of spots that need touched up, and I still have to cut the hole out. Its looking bad ass though, ill post pics later tonight.

ok to answer questions:
yes face plate is removable
yes i layered th glass just right that it was almost perfect
sanded it all down this evening and then skimmed it again to finish up any inperfections with jelly type resin and then sanded it with palm sander now i just need to hand sand and feather! then prime paint, so yeah its turning out but long process and im thinkin of makin a how to after all this if anyone want to know how then!
only thing left to do is install my switches and it will be done.....
but i will keep sending pics and should be starting on the monitor install this week as well!

lookin awsome...
those first pics did not look that great, just looked like the fiberglass was just miscariously placed there, but NOW,
a lot better....
are you going to keep the kupho;der switches recessed, or are they going to be flush with the rim?

since the face plate is removeable I would of detatched the faceplate and mouted it seperately from the HU. just seems like it would of been a cleaner look. but you're not done yet, I'm sure once you are it will look as good as the rest of your car.

thnx grimor and i was thinkin of that but i cant eject a cd with out the face plate being there because its a theft feature. but yeah it should look pimp once done

to hook up the faceplate, seperate from the head unit, is possible, just gotta take the HU appart, and maybe solder one of those flat wire thingys, and to be able to remove the cd, there should be somekind of plastic tab, that would be easy to rig, so that the HU ** thinks ** the faceplate is attached.
