ok i come out to my car today in my garage, i look at my sunroof and it looks uneven. The pass. side opens more then the drivers side. So, i take the glass out and i see that the pass. side does not close and lock like it should and when it opens all the way it goes twice as far as the drivers sisde. I have no damn idea what is with this thing. The motor is fine cuz both sides open and close, but the pass side lock piece doent seem to work. Im not sure whats with my pos ,but gimme some feedback plz

could be off the track. did you buy the car used? when the air bags blow it blows the sun roof open just a thought.

check to see if theres anything stuck in the track. and if there is any grease there

i bought it used but i have had it for 30k. Yes, i checked the track but onithing is in the way of it closing all the way and opening farther than it should. There is greese but not massive amounts

damage to the roof might cause it. but im not sure take it to a sunroof shop and get a quote on a new one and ask them y its like that. then you will know and can probally fix it if not you have a quote
