I cant see the miles that I have---it has been like this for awhile now but now they wont pass me in inspection just because its really dim, does anyone know what I need to do to make it work? I have a 1999 Z24?
common problem. it's a loose connection. you can get by for a while by just smacking the top of the dash. otherwise take it out and resolder it.

take out your cluster, remove teh bulb, and solder in a new one, takes about 20 mins, im thinking in gonna have to do a howto on this next time i take my dashpad off
mine's a 2000. is it just dim or do some of the numbers come up weird? if its just dim try some electrical contact cleaner. worked for me. plus, i got a used cluster out of a junkyard for like $40 (would have been cheaper but my friend pulled it for me)
