i have a 2000 sunfire GT and I want to upgrade to all the power options. what do i need to get other than the door panels???
wire harness, switches?

For the power door locks you'll need the aucuators off the doors...it connects to the lock/unlock knob. You can use the switch off the door panel. As for the the power windows, you can purchase an aftermarket window opener which works in conjuction with the rollup knob or you can go out and snatch a power window motor and switch from a wreker or something. I don't know the different harness you'll need but it's not that hard to fab yourself once you have the key components. Hope this helps.
yeah, the idea I have is to get all the parts from the wreckers but I want to know what I am going to be needing. if anyone knows and can let me know it woulld be greatly appriciated . thanks

if you go to a wrecker, you'll need to get the power window switches and harness pigtail, drivers and passenger side motor and regulator. Dont worry about the door panels, you can buy a cap to cover the hole from a1electric.com,

as for door locks, you'll need the trim piece around the door handle and power door lock switch, and either the door lock module from the donor car, or you can buy some actuators which will work just fine as well...
Those are all fine suggestions. I'm planning on doing the same myself (adding PW/L) to my Cavi. I just didn't know what parts to get from the wreckers, plus the ones closest to me don't let me get the parts myself. So I went the more expensive route. I ordered a door lock set made by Commando. It's universal and came with everything I need to install it. I'm saving for the Spal window kit and will probably add this when I have the funds. If you change your mind and don't want to deal with the wreckers you can check out the sites below. A lot of members mention them a lot.
