Lighted Visor?

Hey,

I have a friend with an 04 Pontiac Sunfire and she wishes that her mirrored visors had lights on them so that she could see better when using them like in luxury cars. Does anybody know if there are aftermarket visors that fit the J-Body platform or has anybody made any modifications like this to the car? The damn visors are so thin I don't have much playing room to make it look "OEM" when I am done.

You might be able to get a 12v slim light that you could slap in the visor or just get some bright white leds and put them along the mirror in the visor.

I never really need the visor's mirror so, I haven't done any custom work on the visors... just throwing some idea's out there.

what he said^^ Or you can hit up a junkyard and find another set that looks good and custom fit them yourself.

ive thought about it.

i think you could just tap a wire into the fusebox and run it along the driverside pillar.

then into the top side of the headliner and into the visors.
i would suggest going to a junkyard or getting them off ebay. im sure you could score a set for $15.

My biggest suggestion is to go to a junkyard and get the parts you need. it will also give you the experience of how to install them because you will see how they were stock. you could snag all the extra wiring and find out what wire or fuse area to tap into.

need more info?
post and ill answer what i can

hope this helps
