I have just purchased my guages And there is a 12v input that comes is supposed to hook up to the lights that illuminate my guages my havac nobs and my power windows. I dont feel like riping out my dash or havac so its the PW's. does anyone know which wire I hook up for the illumintion.

There should be a purple wire going into the power window switches. Thats the one you want.....Thats how i did mine.
The only thing is they will always be on when the car is on. Unless you wire a switch to them.

I don't know the color of the wire but, you will need to take the dash apart anyway to install them right? Once you take it apart, use a multi meter to find the right wire. If some one knows tho, that would easier I guess lol. I just got some gauge off ebay, install soon.

No need for a switch dude, it can take more than 1 or 2 minutes to find the right wire.

if you hace the dimmer switch for the gauges, use the brown (pretty sure) wire to hook them up to.
