I'm looking at getting some seats in about a week, but haven't been able to figure out how I'm going to be able to be buckled in while driving. I'm not sure what to do since the lock mechanism is attached to the seat itself. Now would I be able to use the stock seat belts, or is there a better idea? I've looked at street harnesses, but all of them that I have found require a bar for them to attach to. Any information you could provide whould be extremelly helpful. Thanks for your time.
dont know if you wanna do it this way or not...when i put my seats in i used the same torque bolts that held down the stock belt to hold down my new harness..and as far as the one that is bolted to the seat i simply put a new torque bolt in...wasnt as hard as ya think and holds good

For my Cavy, the seat belt connects to the side of the driver door, and then the locking mech is connected to the side of the center console. Good thing for me
There's a post down the page a bit
LINKY on how to use your stock sliders with the stock seat belt locking mech.

Scott...do you mean you put a new torque bolt into the new seat so the locking mechanism was attached like the stock one?
Sorry for the double post...thought I would mention that the seats include sliders as well.
My seats came with sliders too but I'm still going to try using the stock brackets. Hopefully I'll have some pics up by next week.
