i've never dont it yet. the ebrake handle is oval so you need to grind it and put a handle adaptor on(could be rubber or plasic) but for my shifter none of them fit so i used vinyl electrical tape untill it fit in tightly.

its been done and i think there was a thread but not positive. i know the stock one has to be cut off though so you would have to find a way to attach it

Yea you need to file the curve down in order to slip the new one over the top of it. Its a pain and the shavings will make a mess, but the adapter fitting should make it fit once its grinded down.

Here is how i did mine:

Tools needed:
Box cutter
Rubber mallet
small block of wood
2 shop rags

1) Cut off the stock handle
2) slide the new one on as far as it will go
3) place a balled up shop rag on the handle then the block and then another shop rag or not up to you(make sure the e brake is in the up position)
4) hammer the ebrake down untill it just about hits the release at the curve.

If you go too far down and the brake won't stay up then just tap it back up untill it does.

NOTE:
At least on mine the button is inside of the handle so you have to stick your finger in it to release it. The handle is now longer so it is harder to put a meal cup from places like Taco Hell in the cup holder.
