ok I need to put 4 speakers in my rear dash if i cut where the majic marker is will that majorly change the structure?
The side on the right looks a little close to the trunk hinge bracket. I would move a little to the left if possible.

wasnt distracted by the picture, im not a structural engineer so i wouldnt know how cutting up the rear deck would effect the vehicle in an accident so i didnt respond to that part. i was just mearly intrested in why you were putting so many speakers back in the rear deck. if your going for loud then youlle get that. if your going for a good clean accurate sound, thats going to hurt you more then anything.

but i have a 04 cavalier, and i put infinity kappa 6x9's bottom mounted, and the rear deck rattles real bad. I'm gonna see if someone can cut the holes bigger to top mount them and use the included speaker grills..

MATTRESS - just take some pliers and peel the metal back to make the gap bigger lol and the speakers will sit rite in there nice and snug, I put the same speakers back there
