My dome light is blinking every time i hit a bump.....when it's in the off position. All doors are shut, including trunk..... It stays on when in the on position.....but when it's off it comes on every time I hit a bump in the road. Not 100% sure, but I think it might have to do with the sudden cold. My friends 1995 GMC truck has a dome light that will stay ON if you switch in on in cold weather and won't go out until the temp warms up outside even when switched off, which could be days. He took the bulb out. I know I'm comparing trucks to cars here.....but thats the only lead I've got. Anyone else having this problem?
possibly a loose door switch. like when you close the door, the pin like part that pushes in to tell the light to go out. maybe thats malfunctioning
