I need a bit of help, I want to get a cluster with a Tach for my 98 Cavy, but the ol' parts computer at work(I work at a Chevy dealer) lists 4 pages of clusters. The only way I'm going to be able to order the right one is to have a VIN from a car that has all the stuff I want. So what I'm looking for is a VIN number for a 98 Cavalier, with a Manual trans, factory tach and Electronic(Digital) odometer. I'll give the person who supplies me with a Vin for this $5 thru Paypal just for the trouble of sending me a VIN. I'm not looking to get a VIN to make a key to steal a car, I just want it to correctly order a cluster. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

they are, I've done my homework. I've even talked to the GM TechAssistance guys about it.
The wiring is already in the car for a tach, I just need a tach cluster.

See if any of these numbers work for you. They are cross refrenced to a 99 and see if that will work for your 98.
