alright, ive got a 96 cavy, and im wondering if i can swap in a (i belive its a 97) sunfire center consol, it looks different as to how the cup holders are laid out, but im not sure if it will all bolt in ok. Also i DONT want to swap my dash, if it doesnt bolt in thats fine i can weld and change the mounts in my car, but if it will not line up/fit under my dash then ill pass.
I believe they are all swappable even the post 00 years.
95-99 are the same and 00-05 are the same. the only difference between the 95-99 and the 00-05 are the mounting points. you can swap between the two groups but you won't be able to put the middle bolt in (by the shifter) and the console will be at a slight angle.
but for what you're looking at you're good.

i did the swap and i just swapped in the shifter and the mounting brackets from a sunfire into my cavalier and it worked fine
