Plastic peice inside dash top

I know people have talked about the gaps in the dash if you take the viynal off. But I have never seen a pic that shows how bad the gap is. Does anybody have a pic so I can see. This will help me in starting my dash top project.

well if you figrure the foam on the dash is roughly 1/8"-1/4" thick. when you take it off your dash is now 1/4" smaller then it was before.

well i don't have any pics the g/f has the cam but ya with the vinyl and foam i figure that if your planning on fiberglassing it might just work out to be the same thinckness depending on how much resin you but on and you might have cracks around the air bag area and the vent i'm reinforcing that area first under that dash
