I got a new Volt gauge, it has 4 wires, Red, Black, White, and Orange---any ideas where I should connect these, I mean back and red are obvious, but the white and the orange got me beat, any ideas?

What is the brand of gauge? but white is most likely going to be wired into the dash lighting, and orange is probably going to be a the signal wire

Hoow one to a 12v source for the headlights. Hook the other to ground. If it is a standard light bulb, it does not matter which way the electricity flows. It will light all the same.

Just play with it. If you hook it up wrong the LED will not light up and it won't hurt the LED.

Try it on the battery of the car to figure out which wire is positve.
