aight help me here fellas. and gals.....
ok 99 cavy coupe (no ls, z24,rs) just base.
i want:
power windows
power locks
power trunk
future:
alarm system
door popper
so heres what i need links to good quality products at the best price... and in my wondering. can i program a remote (like the z24 has)to pop the trunk and enable the alarm system,door locks...with the door lock button. and when i press the unlock pop the doors turn off remote and unlock door?
is this possible or will i have to have multiple remotes?

actually i did search... came up with lots of results browsed everyone of them learned some very interesting things. but when i typed it

You searched for everything you have in quotes? No wonder it didn't come up with anything. Just search for "power windows" or "remote locks" or something similar. I'd suggest searching in the electronics forum, as all of those issues are electronic in nature.

manda, most upper end after market alarm systems will pop the doors, trunk, start car, etc. For the power everything, your best bet is to search and buy aftermarket. Most of this stuff is warrantied. Or you can go the uber cheap way and hit the wreckers, but you take the chance of it being a piece o' crap.

don't get pissed at me.....I simply stated that maybe you should search first.....because there are many posts on the same topic, if people searched before posting it would save a lot of space......we all have to learn to search first

^^^^there now everyones good! anyways yeah i did the backwards thing and bought a door popper kit but have no power locks windows etc but then went to the junk yard and picked up motors and wires shounda just got the whole doors but i think you can add your alarm to the other remote and there's added hook ups aswell i.e trunk popper

I have SPAL Power lock and SPAL power window kit under the tree. And i did just recently see a post about the power trunks. But I use spal and they are awesome. No problems at all and i think they are reliable. I think quite a few people use them for parts.
