My latest creation:



Fits perfectly into the rounded area thats molded into the headliner.

Requires partial removal of the headliner to allow room to get the switch assembly out and back in tight (there are 2 clips that must be pressed tight or it will hang loose).

I used 3M Super 77 adhesive spray - seems to have worked like a charm.

I'm thinking of running a big batch of these soon - how many would be interested?

Also, I will have the final phase of lighting this switch ready by the end of the year and will make the required decals available for free just like on my door lock thread.

if that would work for an 05 sunfire id be interested. do you do custom carbon fiber parts all the time or just at certain periods? reason i ask is because i have an auto and kinda wanna have a carbon fiber knob. anyways how much would these cost btw?

I'll post pricing once I determine if there is enough demand to run a whole CF sheet of them.

LOL - I wish I could do CF all the time, but it's either hard to get from my supplier or I can't afford to buy it when it's available...

also, there are hvac overlays already and a bunch of others on ebay and some other guy here on the forum (i think) that is doing this. youre's do look much better. i think more pics of everything would be great.

any one else have what i got....i seem to have only one button on the right side of the HVAC control. in other words i don't have a defrost button, all i have is the AC button. unusual?? i like how the carbon fiber HVAC looks, but i don't want an empty hole...do i sound crazy, or should i try and posts a pic of it?? thanks



Nope, it ain't stock.

Nope not crazy, that is one of the versions of the HVAC that I have seen. I could make you an HVAC face that works with that option, no problem.

Now if you could just explain how this pertains to the sunroof switch bezel, I will be amazed
