Bezel/Dash Replacement

Alright, well my Cavalier was broken into and stereo stolen... in that process the bezel was broken. Just curious if any of you have replaced or taken off your stereo bezel piece - I am not sure how difficult it is or what steps to take.

Also, just like every other Cavalier my dash, closest to the windshield is cracked - has there been any replacement covers or any other solution to this problem yet? Last time I was on here I read a post about replacement pieces being send out?

Thanks

taking the bezel off is easy. just remove the 6 or 7 bolts holding the dash top on, then pull the 2 holding the top of the bezel in, and pull. its just clipped in after those bolts are out.

as far as the dash crack replacement, its been worked on by a bunch of people, but nothing has come from it as of yet that i know of

RIP Kasey Burleson, and get well soon Chris Shelly

i fixed my brothers cavy but simply taking a piece of metal right theres ... but his was an extremely straight crack and it was very easy to do. just take it out and make or buy a T shaped metal peice and glue it on but glue down inbetween the crack and the metal. and if you cant work with the metal loot sand it and paint it if you are painting your interior.
