If you go to the website, they sell replacement caps. Just cause of that, I think it is a set screw.
hey sorry i havent answered your questions sooner, but we had a house fire on dec 22 in the early am and we lost everything in our house and i just got back online.those window cranks have a base that slides over the splined shaft and has 2 small set screws.then theres a polished cover that goes over that.then the actual arm/crank goes on next and is held in place by a single screw, then the cover(cap) snaps into the arm/crank.when you get them you will see what im talking about, they are real easy to install.post some pics when you get them.
