I seen these chrome window cranks on ebay, i emailed the guy about them and he said they use adapters with set screws. anyone heard of this? I know ours have those "c clips," will these adapters and screws work also? thanks for the help

save your money and buy the billet specialties window cranks.they are the best window cranks to buy.real easy to install

If you go to the website, they sell replacement caps. Just cause of that, I think it is a set screw.

hey sorry i havent answered your questions sooner,but we had a house fire on dec 22 in the early am and we lost everything in our house and i just got back online.those window cranks have a base that slides over the splined shaft and has 2 small set screws.then theres a polished cover that goes over that.then the actual arm/crank goes on next and is held in place by a single screw,then the cover(cap) snaps into the arm/crank.when you get them you will see what im talking about,they are real easy to install.post some pics when you get them.
