I have been debating on getting a set for the cav and wanted to know if anybody has some pics of then installed, or if they like them or have had any problems with them.

Thanks
Jeff

You mean the c/f "thresholds"?? I'd like to see pics of some installed also.

I have them and they look pretty good. Sadly, I have no pics to show you as the car is in storage and the interior is stripped.
They are held on by double sided 3M tape. They are a near perfect fit but you have to be careful when getting out of the car so that you don't accidently kick it and it comes off. I've had many passangers do that and it's pissed me off so much. I may just end up glueing them on with Crazy Glue or something.

Do you mean the sills, which are attached to the metal part of that area, or the pieces that replace the plastic pieces inside the car (one of which contains the hood latch)?

If you want pics of the ones that are closer to the outside of the car, I can take some.

He's talking about the ones that are on the inside that goes around the hood latch.

BTW, they aren't replacements, just covers

well hell thats the only RKSport CF thing I DONT have...hehe

Can't use them with my kick panels unless I don't mind cutting them in half and only using parts of 'em.

I think in the spring I'll get these myself as I painted my interior and the seat belt already knocked a chip in the factory thresholds! These might help that out some...hoping anyway.

I have the C/F door sills too, so they should go together really nice...I'd like to see some pics too if anyone has these installed????

we wanted those at one time, but I don't like the fact that they are just a cover and not a replacement

Really? I thought they did replace the OEM part? Are you sure?

I won't be buying them if they are just covers!

I guess I was confused...I was talking about the retainers being overlays...

Are they overlays or replacement pieces? I know the door sills are overlays but I have a kit and they match up really good. So are the retainers a replacment for the OEM part?

Thanks
