I have a 2004 SF Gt with auto trans my wifes 2000 Cav with auto has a locking steering wheel when you remove the key from the ign.But when I remove the ign key from my Sunfires ign. the steering wheel can still be moved the dealer said it is normal?Has any one else found this?

Yea mine is the same way, its probably because I believe your '04 has the "theft lock" car alarm installed, which my '04 came with stock. I think usually cars with the steering wheel lock do not come with a car alarm stock, unless you wife's '00 has a factory installed car alarm otherwise I don't know.
