so i went to take it off because i was going to paint it like the rest of my int. i unscrew the 4 or 5 bolts from the bottom that hold the hinge and i take it off. as im pulling it away. bits and scraps of plastic that the bolts were holding onto crumble onto my floor. now my glovebox wont mount up because theres nothing to mount to. any suggestions on what do to? id like to replace it, but im guessing that its all apart of the dash and u cant just take the box out.
one thing i was thinking of doing was rigging a piece of wood and putting it where the plastic was. then taking the mettal clips that the bolts go into and securing them onto the wood?.
please help me with some ideas or input cause right now my panel and my neons attatched to it are laying on my passenger side floor.
thanks.
Get a pic and i might be able to offer some advise because if i'm understanding what u said then that was a crapload of plasic that came off.

Gotta replace the dash, I think.
O god, that looks preety bad
well theres no time you see. im moving to ontario on february 14th and i have to leave my car here, outside covered by a car cover for the year and a half that im gunna be away. im thinking maybe i'll just disconnect my neons, put the panel away and drive it without a glove box cover until its time to leave. then next year, maybe i'll glass it and give it something to hold onto.
moving for a year and a half without a car??
military?
RIP Kasey Burleson, and get well soon Chris Shelly
recording school. in a big city. getting an apartment right by the school cause i cant afford to have a car at the same time.
Maybe this could work. Since it will be unseen, you could put it on thick for more strength.
Gorilla Glue! You will be suprised!
New Picture comming this summer.
Holy cow - I have no idea how you did that but i would suggest something like the 2 above^^^
Thats probably your best bet until u can glass it or replace the dash.
O, whats recording school??? - Like learning how to record music and such???

thanks guys. those are awesome suggestions.
yeh, well recording school is learning to work in a studio and someday being able sit there and actually work the board as green day or someone are sitting infront of you playing.
well, now looks like an excellent time to put a tv or game console in your dash!
