Finally took off those darn head rests

now, I want to put LEDs under the headrests, so that the leds are in between the seat and the headrest.

Anyone tried this before??

Or better yet, anyone know where to get started??? Thanx

it's not that hard to do, but the best way IMO is to use a fiber optic or even an EL tube that runs completely around the bottom of the headrest. it would give a nice even glow all the way around.

Ok, I started it my way... Im wiring 2 Ultra Brite LEDs to go in the seat belt holder, right under it so it looks like the light is coming out in between the seat and the head rest......

I'll post pictures when Im finished

I've never actually looked at the underside of the headrest, but I would imagine that there would be a plastic retainer where the support arm is... if there is, coudn't you just pop that retainer, insert an LED, and replace the retainer? It would provide even light dispersion.
