Hi Guys,

We are thinking seriously about buying some sheets of .040 brushed aluminum and cutting them into interior pieces such as Dimmer Faces, HVAC Faces, Door Inserts, Gauge Bezels, etc. etc.

All parts would be silver aluminum with relevant decals printed black on clear and applied for you. Prices would be similar to carbon fiber pieces of the same type.

How many of you would be interested? If we can get 10 or so people thinking about it, we'll go ahead and cut it and start a GP this month.

if you make a burhsed almuminum piece that goes around the passanger airvent, i am soooooooooo in, as well as door inserts for the handle and that thing where you put cds i guess, and um yeah i would definatly be in, if you are not going to make them pm me and maybwe we can work soemthing out, thanks!

OK sounds good so far - think we'll run a sheet in a couple weeks and see how it goes from there...

I'd be interested in the gauge bezel as long as the price is reasonable (don't know what the CF pieces ran)

Nope, I actually have a bunch of those in stock with icons. Watch for my GP later this week! I'll never get away from CF stuff - we have at least a dozen new products coming out this year.

i'd take the HVAC face and dimmer switch and maybe something for the door..


1998 Sunfire, 2.2L auto

I'm in the process of seeing how many parts I can get from a 4x8 sheet of aluminum. Then I need to have my cutting guy give me a quote on how many hours I'll have to pay for to get the pieces made. Once I've determined that, we can set prices and start the GP.

Give me a week or so and we'll get this rolling.

Im very interested as well. Could u make any trim pieces for things like the dome light, and aftermarket radio setups? I second the idea of a kit as well. Good idea btw. If you made a door sill piece with Z24 imprinted that would look aawesome as well

Yes, the aftermarket radio fave is one of our new products and will be available in CF, brushed alum. and different colors of PVC.

For the aftermarket radio's what is the most widely used kit?

As far as bezels go, some of you might know form E-bay, there is this store that sells them, and they only deal with bezels, and light cover kits.....
Their name is Fire and Ice Chicks. To be honest, i bought one, for my 02 cluster, and only the second time they sent me the right one, the bezel does not fit....

Well it does, but not correctly... ie: turn signals are off, i canot see the bottom line of my odometer, the circles around the gauges are slightly off........

The bezels, will be a perfect fit.... i can asure you of that....

Any questions, or recomendations..... pot here....

I got my bezel from Fire and Ice Motorsports on eBay. It fits perfectly and they sent the right one the first time.

Yeah well that one is a Sunfire one - the Cavalier one they make, I ASSURE you, does not fit right.

I'd like to make a CF version of the Sunfire bezel if someone would lend me their aluminum one or send me a cluster. Free of charge, of course.
