make it bigger and have it wrap around the prnd21 part so it looks more like a boot and less like it does.

Sorry forgot to paste the text.

It's a factory boot from an earlier sunfire.
The support wire at the base covers up the shift indicator. It took awhile to get it to fit around the plastic if I cut it, it might not stay put.

I'll prob just try to find one from a stick.

It does look better then the black pole.

Yeah, the boot does look a bit weird, but definitely better than just the stick. I have a manual boot from a '00+ Sunfire on mine. If you're interested, I got mine from GM Parts Direct and the part number for it is: #22630142.

heres one i made for my fire, black vinyl it will fit around the piece okay, its a very tight fit, but once its in it wont come out on you as long as u make it long enough. it cost me 15$ for a yard of quality vinyl and about an hour to do it right, took me a couple tries, but it was still worth the time.

Are those black and white seats with black/silver interior?? If so do you have many more pictures? I was wondering if the colors would all blend well together so if you have any other angles in there I'd love to see them.

Not to derail the topic or anything

i believe j to eny took a manual boot out of a manual and put it in there, so it fits just like stock.

my seats just look off because they were in direct sunlight, they are acttually silver suede inserts.

Cool, I think I'm gonna do that. Can I just ask for the boot at a Chevy dealer parts desk? Also, how do I get the PRND21 plate off?

you need to unbolt the whole center console 4 (7 or 8 mm) bolts two at the bottom of the storage one under the power window or a cup thing if you dont have power windows one hidden under a cover tab thing just below the HVAC controls

you could get it at the chevy parts desk, but may want to ask around on here or hit up the junk yards, chances are you can find it for 1/4 the price chevy will charge you.
