Material for Shift Boot?

Hey guys...
I hate the pleather shift boot that comes stock in our j's... I want something new-- out of a new material... A couple friends of mine made their own to match the color of their car.. it was quite nice. Any reccomendations on material- or a place to buy one?

Thanks,
Chris

I made shift and ebrake boots from leather. Had my mom sew them up. They look awesome. Go to a local fabric shop and buy leather sheet and have someone sew the leather around the frame for the shift boot and ebrake handle.
