Doesn't a company make an adapter kit that will allow an automatic shifter to use almost any shift knob, manual or auto? You would end up having to push down on the entire knob to shift gears. I'll look for it, hopefully I can find it again.

For those that wanted the company that made the adapter, it is Corvette Accessories Unlimited (CAU)

One could be made yourself easy enough but I took that lazy route & bought the f-body one from CAU. Worked fine for years till I bought the 5spd & had no use for the adapter anymore. Also push button knobs are just plain annoying, when the other option is simply pushing down on the entire knob lol

Autozone has a manual/automatic shifter.
