Ignition Problem
Sunday, January 22, 2006 9:21 AM
Ok I get into to start my car and turn the Ingition, doesnt seem to want to turn on..I try it a couple of more times, doesnt engage or turn far enough to get to enage.

Turn back and take the key out and the varoius items are still let, you know lights, oil blah. I had to disonnect the battery to stop it from draining

Has anyone else experinced this? I feel like i am going to have to get a new tumbler and all this stuff for this damn car.

The car has been good, but when things go bad, they go bad in the car. I am wondering if after certain mileage they tend to fall apart ?

That poos. Although annoying, looks like a pretty easy fix though if you just want to replace it.
If you want to replace the ignition cylinder thing and can't find one, hit me up on IM or email. I can get you one and i've replaced one of those cyliners before too. Pretty easy.

Thats why you don't take ur car to the dealer.
Did they already fix it???
If not, ask them what needs to be done and we might be able to help u do it urself.

Seth,

Messaged you on yahoo last night....bad luck for me is i had to turn off all the bills in my name since i am moving into a new place, no more internet. I was told that the whole Ingition lock was thrashed and it feel apart and they would need to replace it . At that price? I havent even gotten a price by price break down yet...i need my car to work and all that crap, so i couldnt have any down time. I know i should have let someone else do it, but i expected it to only be what msn said, i feel like the dealership is taking me for a ride now. They had the car all day and never even called to tell it was done....i still dont have my car......
