SO im laying down my 2nd layer of glass, and leave it to dry, come back 4 hours later and touch and it seems dry but one area still feels sticky and wet. SO in my infinite wisdom i decide to add a couple drops of liquid hardrner (the stuff you mix in) ontop of it to see what happens. COme back two hours later and there is a ton of green stuff everywhere, and its still tacky and sticky, any ideas how to salvave this thanks!

you have pictures? I'm not sure what you mean by "green stuff" everywhere.

what is the temperature like where you are fiberglassing? if it's too cold it won't cure too well at all, you'll need a heater to help it cure.

1. well wait a bit longer for it to harden
2. depends on what your making/how big, either take it all off and re-do it
or take a dremmel and cut out that section.

it's hard to say what to do unless you specify what you're working.

All is not lost you said the 2nd layer right? Before you cut out anything try grabbing some acetone and a rags wipe the area thats still wet with a small amount of acetone and have a dry cloth to wipe off the crappy stuff some of the layer cured right ? well the acetone will only losen up the non hardened glass i use it to clean any extra resin run off and the tools it sounds like you added the harder. But didn't mix it well. Never add harder after adding it the first time. Once you add it It's cooking at a set rate adding more will fk it up grab a putty knife to ya might need it if that fails see posts above

OR....If its only one layer that is mixed to cool (not enough hardener in it) then mix up a hot batch (with a few exra drops of hardener) and apply it over the tacky area. A hot batch will dry up uncured fiberglass.

Ditto. But don't get carried away with the hardener or you will burn it, or warp it.

yeah to much hardener will create very brittle fiberglass and it will be weak. this can also happen from uneven drying so watch using heaters. if you use a heater, heat the whole area dont try to pinpoint the heater in one spot.
