how do u remove a stock E-brake handle

hey
wondering if anyone knew how to remove the factory E-brake handle i got a realy nice momo handle to put on. i know theres a small hole under the boot and im thinking there might be some way to release the handle. i got my shift knob off fine but the e-brake is being a pain. it would be appreciated if someone could help me out.

I recently discovered the "secret" to installing an aftermarket e-brake handle from phlatcav. All you have to do is cut the plastic cover off with a dremel, not the whole metal lever underneath, just the plastic cover. I did this this past Sunday and I am currently awaiting a custom made billet handle that will match my shift knob.

ya, with my old car i cut all the plastic off then put a ractive automatic shift knob on it and it worked fine
