What's the best way to remove tint from the back window?
its not fun. depending on how old it is it might be easy. i had the adventure of peeling it off a 92 Saturn and im sure it was on there for 10 years. there 2 ways i know of.
1.the good old razor blade. you need to be careful you don't cut any if the defrost lines (if you have them) just keep scraping all it until you get it all off.
2. theres a tint removal spray that works pretty well. the tint is supposed to peel right off. i used it on the sides of the Saturn, seems to work pretty good. but messy.
another thought, my tint shop only charges $50 cdn to remove all the tint from a car so thats an option too.
on more thing i found if the tint is really old it will be brittle and may only come off in little pieces, so be prepared for this too it will make one hell of a mess.
good luck

The tinter I goto used a portable steamer to remove the 3M tint I had from late 1991. He said it was one of the worst removal jobs yet. You can find out about that technique, and others, on

use a hair dryer and razor blade and have fun
