I am looking for a set of what I believe is the 2000+ cav door panels. You know the ones that don't have that crappy material on the top half of the door. I want to sand down a set of door panels and keep them looking stock.
If anyone can help me find a set I would appreciate it. Thanx guys.

plastic with some kind of fabric that matches the seats
i do not know of any that are different
some have a vinyl overlay on the top half of the door panel...
I have a pair for sale laying around at my house. I'll check later to see if they are vinyl or plastic.
from what i understand most of the older cavys, and the verts have vinyl on the top the newer ones have plastic
ya from what I read which was a while back it was the 2000+ door panels that didn'thave the vynal on the top half. If you have those panels lying around let me know email me with a price and some pics. I have a second set I started glassin but I just have no time to do this anymore and just want to get the interior looking somewhat stock. Let me know what color the arm rest part is as well. Thanx.

2002 would fit fine in a 98 right? and a 2002 would have the top half without the vinyl?

Yeah, the older ones have a rubberish material on the top half of the doors, makes sanding it off a hellish experience, and painting it almost impossible.

Yeah, will bolt right up, and the 2000+ don't have that rubberish part, they are plastic. To give you an idea, those things are about $300 new from a dealer, each.

my 97 and my 00 both have the same door panels
granted both LS model sedans
my g/fs 02's door panels are identical in material to mine , my 97 Z24 is out at a friends or id check it out
but my friends base model 97 from what i remeber had the same plastic door panels all mine do

If you can get a pari of the 2000+ with preferably red armrest with power locks and power windows that would be great. I'd definetly get them from you if you could pick a pair up.

the 95-99 style is in 2 pieces, those being the top and bottom halves. the top half is wraped in vinal with the cloth insert presses and molded into the door.
the 2000+ style the tops and bottom are one piece, all plastic, but the cloth insert is a seperate piece plastic welded in from behind. also the shape of the area around the triangle mirrow piece is different slightly.

I've got 2 door panels that just need to be finished up fiberglassing that I'd sell uber cheap, if you'd be interested shoot me a PM.
what do you mean finished fiberglassin?
the seems between the top and bottom of the door panel are glassed, they just need to be sanded and whatnot.
do you have any pics of the doors? and when you say the seems have been glassed did you use cloth to glass the seems.?
