When you clear it and the small bubbles form, sand the clear with a 300+ grit sandpaper when it dries and re-clear. That should make it look a lot better

I'd wet sand at 800 myself so you don't have to go back and sand at 800/1200. 300 will put some pretty good marks in your paint and clear.

Go higher to start and work you way down before starting low. Won't hurt to see if 800/1200 will take car of the problem first.

Did you use a plastic promotor under the primer before painting? That's what I did and it turned out pretty sweet.

Eh...old man with a Corvette now...it was bound to happen sooner rather than later right?

the primer turned out pretty smooth...... it was just the bubbles in the actual paint that I didnt like.

clean with alchohal. i know when i painted my mirrors with my grandpa they would bubble up, or fisheye, so we just added fish eye elimenator to the spray gun....but im guessing your rattle canning so idk if there is anything that you can do to help that....could it be the temperature of the area your doing it in?

i think maybe i was just putting the paint on to thick..the primer went on great..and the paint started going smoother after i started going with 2 thinner coats...but before it was making a abunch of really smaller bumps that were really bubbles...ill have pics up today...i went ahead and left it cus it looks soooo much nicer than the way it was im not gonna let bumps bother me

its best to use several light coats versus few heavy coats. applying paint to heavily will cause issues. if its not perfect, just sand it so its smooth and try again.
