Project Blue Light Proceeds - Pics!
Wednesday, February 08, 2006 10:20 AM
Got my new pod gauges from Speedhut last week and got around to getting some pics...
All of their gauges are now available in Blue - you may have to email them to get a custom quote as this is not on their website yet - I am the first.

Speedhut is definitely the way to go if you want everything to match. I'm working on getting them to make the HVACs for our cars but I need to order 30 of them...

Anyway, Project: Blue Light is nearing completion. Buzz122 is working on getting the odometer and all of my warning icons to light up in blue and it's done.

Here are some pics - my tach needle has been giving me some trouble but I'm going to wait until my new custom cluster is ready before fixing it. All the other needles light up much better than in these pics...bottom one is my favorite!

Thanks!

Steve

Seems like all the cavalier owners want red now....id do anything to get rid
of my red. I guess some of us sunfire owners are just tired of the red.
I need my gauge cluster and hvac to match my autometer cobalts...

Nice.
I wanted to go blue lights in my car too but after seeing that it'd be a pain to do the cluster, i just decided to go red with everything to match stock..... still want the blue though.

I have a 99 with the digital odometer. So swapping clusters arent that easy.
Im pretty sure the gauge face is tinted with red so even if i did change for some
blue leds theyd probably just turn out to look purple....

Well I certainly see why you've been so busy these past few days. It looks great Steve
can't wait to see it in person again, this time with the gauges installed rather then in a box. Hopefully Hanns ( spelling? ) will be nicer next time.

Semper Fi SAINT. May you rest in peace.

prob cuz sunfire red is a lil different than if we were to change cav to red led, imo. it's a duller (sp?) red. i would like red as well cuz i have a red 02.
