Carbon Fiber
Wednesday, February 15, 2006 8:59 AM
I've seen colored CF (ie yellow and black weave), but I haven't seen anywhere that there are actual products made from this. Does anyone know where I can find this stuff or some "fake" colored CF (that looks good) that I can use to cover things? Thanks to anyone that can help.

Titus @ the Carbonfibershop can wrap almost anything in blue, red, or traditional CF. He just finished up a GP for the center arm rest to get wrapped up. I can't wait to get mine back. I don't know about any other colors, but its worth asking him about.

SilverStallion is who you are thinking about, I haven't seen him around in a long long time.

That's the problem, I'm not quite sure what I want. I'm redoing the interior of my car again (from black and yellow to all black with yellow lighting). I still have a bit of yellow in there, and I would like to highlight little things with the yellow weave CF... Then when I move to the engine, there are some covers and things that I would want there.

Well I'll have to stop off on the way home but theres a place here called HP Racing and they have a display for carbon fiber overlay trim pieces and yellow is one of the choices.
I can't remember the name of the manufacturer to save my life tho. is this the kind of thing your looking for ?

Not exactly an overlay (you mean the stuff that sticks to the bezel around the radio and stuff?) I've seen them and I really don't like the way they cover.
Two of the parts I'm looking for specifically is the dimmer switch and the HVAC cover. I know I've seen both done in regular CF. There are several other parts I would like, but I can't seem to find them anywhere in anything but the grey/silver CF.
