Cluster swap

Hey guys Ive read all about this but still unsure about something. I never saw this mentioned. If I have a 99 base 5spd no tach, would it be best to stay with the digital odometer and get a 5spd with tach cluster from another 99, or can i go mechanical odometer with no more hassle. Id rather go mechanical. Thanks.

I root for the underdog...figured I might as well be one

If you grab another digital one from a diff vehicle you need to have either a dealer or a spedometer shop adjust the milage because then tis odometer fraud. Note this only applies to 98-99 digital ones. 2000 and Up are all BCM driven. And no the 2000 and up's do not interchange into the 98-99 models
