Ok guys, I know this has been on here before. I have done extensive searching and still found no answer.
I have a 98 cavalier and want to put a sunfire cluster in with a tach.
The cluster I have now has a digital odometer, and I would like to still have a digital odometer if I do a swap.
Can someone please let me know if I can put a Sunfire cluster in and what years would work.

i have an 01 Sunfire and it's cluster still has a digital odometer... so i'm guessing the 00+ clusters would be compatible... just a guess though? that's all i know though lol... sorry if it didn't help...

00+ wont work on a pre 2k, apparently the 95-99 cluster will work, but it requires soldering on the sunfire plug to the wiring harness
It requires modification of the plug as well as setting the milage in the odometer. It doesnt swap nice and easily like a mechanical will. 00+ will not work at all as its milage comes from the puter, the pre 00's are all in the cluster. It might just be easier to find a 98 Z24, swap its cluster into yours and have a spedometer shop/dealer do the milage set. And buy the red overlays.
