i was wanting to hook up a apc steering wheel does it hurt anything i heard Ur passenger bag will deploy and Ur air bag light stays on 2nd what are the steps on how to take off ur wheel and put the new one on

DID YOU SEARCH the forum first for the answer!!! Yes, everything you ststed above is correct. As far as the airbag light is concerned, I've heard ther are ways to trick it, but I'm not sure. Again, do a search in this forum, or check the FAQ on the top of the forum, and you should be able to find all your answers. BTW, check with your local authorities and your insurance company before doing this, as certain states, and most insurance companies frown upon this type of mod.

disconnect the battery and leave for ten minutes ( I left it over night to be safe ) remove the air bag fuse and then take off the steering wheel, there is a yellow connector there for the air bag just unplug, then remove the coil from the column there will be a c-clip if you dont have the proper tool it will be tricky, then install new wheel. As far as the passenger air bag goes all i did was unplug the clip when i removed my dash, and the light on the dash for the air bag i just un sodered the bulb inside the cluster so it wouldnt come on ever again
