plus around how much does it cost to do..

thanks everyone and if you dont care could you please post a few pics of fiberglassed interior so i know what to shoot for.

oh no i have searched and i got some very good threads...

i just wanted someone to give me a push as of why to do it, benefits, and cost more importantly.

i do have a few questions though..

i have the 99 doors panels that have the vinyll on the top layer... do i remove this vinyll to fiberglass or just go over top of it. and i hear all these people drilling holes in the plastic.. how big are the holes. can someone send me pics of the holes that the drilled and around how many?

dont do it, if your not mechanically inclined and dont have the patience to sand and sand and sand till its smooth then sand some more. its just not going to come out right. theres been way to many half assed projects out there as it is. if your really want to do it, start out with something small like a trim piece and just do that one piece and if it turns out great then move on to the next piece. to many people take on to big a projects and you see them starting over a few months down the line, that or they just run around with crap interiors.

I'd suggest firs doing just a flat piece... or something that does not involve fabric and so many cracks like door panels do. You can do something like your a-pillar, glovebox, ect. I think these pieces would be easier to start with. Also check out the fiberglassing link in the tutorial for a place to begin.
