Back in December I put some red neons in my footwells. I liked the red glow and so at the end of January I started thinking about putting more red lighting on my car. I decided to change the dome light to red, so I bought four red LEDs, wired in a resistor, and stuck them in the dome. The glow was great, except it was really dark because the LEDs had a low viewable angle, etc etc.
Today I put the stock bulb back in and now have four LEDs, already resistor'd up for 12v, and was wondering where you suggest I put them in my car - inside or out. Oh, one of the bulbs doesnt work great and is really dim so I suppose technically I have 3.5 LEDs.
Throw them back in your dome, just sand them so they put out light at better angles. Of course you could always throw them in your vents or map pockets. The options are limitless...

If you only have 3, there's not much you can do with them. Get some more, and put them in your vents or something.
you could put them behind the knobs in your HVAC?

Not in the stock sockets, he couldn't. That'd have to be custom wired to use standard LEDs.
Unless they were preassembled when you got them, you are going to need to up the resistance to 13.8v. Otherwise, you risk blowing the LED's.
If you need some vent ones, I'll see what I got lying around in spare parts... You'll just have to supply the switch.
i have 3 in my interior.. 2 in the side window defroster vents, and 1 shining in the pocket infront of the cupholders(looks cool as hell if you have a water bottle or something the really lights it up) if you want a pic i can get one and post it up
Sure let's see a pic bluzr2.
I was happy when I heard my car ran 10s. Then I found out that was 0-60.
k ill take a couple tonight.
